thanks for that Nick.
he was all man fish, even sick he managed to fertilize the last bunch of eggs
i cleaned the 29 after i buried him and removed the media from the filters and filled it with water from the 220g and put some carbon in the filters in case there is some traces of medicine left in there.
in the morning i'm going to net as many babies as i can and put them in the 29.
the search for the successor to the king begins.
in case anyone is curious Digger was 14 inches from nose to tail and almost 12 inches standard length. i wished i could have weighed him but i don't have any scales but i do know he was a big chunk of fish
Savanna called from my sisters house and asked how Digger was and i told her i put him to sleep.
she said i'm sorry you lost your best friend
I'm so sorry, sick.
I feel about Sweetie probably the same way you felt about Digger. They are more than "just fish." I am so glad the eggs were fertile and that he was able to continue his line.
I posted in the other thread but again, sorry sick. I had to [right click/save as] this photo, he was truly a magnificent beast. Instead of tears I say cheers to "The Digger"...
